Lanarkshire's Best Green Business
This award is open to any organisation in Lanarkshire, irrespective of size or sector. It recognises organisations that have sustainable development at the heart of their business strategy and have successfully combined business aims with environmental goals.
Successful entrants should provide evidence in at least one of the following:
- Resource efficiency: measureable improvements in reducing consumption and improving efficiency in resource use (e.g. reducing energy, water and waste); use of sustainable materials;
- Energy: achievements in reducing carbon emissions by promoting energy efficiency and renewable energy;
- Innovation: new business opportunities that have arisen from emerging environmental technologies and practices.
