23rd Sep 2007 - Eurocentral Makes It A Double

Eurocentral, Scotland's leading mixed use business park has scooped the coveted Property Executive 'Industrial Award for Excellence' for the second year running, at the
annual awards ceremony in Glasgow on Thursday 20 September.

The site picked up the accolade in recognition of a significant number of new lettings and the launch of major development plans. This year has already seen a substantial
industrial take up of 353,477 sq ft of space, and over half a million sq ft of space (507,016 sq ft) has been developed and ready for occupation in 2007/8.

Steve Turner, Eurocentral director, commented: "The significance of this award win is extremely important to the team and highlights the efforts of all involved. We have secured a good number of lettings this year and pushed ahead with the £330 million former Chungwha site development plans which will benefit the future of Eurocentral.

"We are very proud of not only maintaining but also attracting a number of high profile names to the park, which has for the second year running firmly positioned us as a prime industrial location."

2007 has seen a dramatic change to the park frontage as the former Chungwha Picture Tubes facility has been removed to make way for the largest speculative business space development in Scotland. Eurocentral has also responded to market demand with the announcement of plans to build an additional 244,000 sq ft of high specification industrial and warehousing space.
