All That Jazz. The sound of New Orleans will be heard all over Hamilton on 14, 15 and 16th September when the town hosts its second annual Jazz Festival.
This year's events include a programme of events across the weekend that offers something for everyone. The event will showcase the variety of venues across Hamilton.
The headline act will be Martin Taylor's Fraternity featuring Guy Barker.
Award winning guitarist is Martin Taylor, MBE is joined by a stellar line-up of some of the finest jazz musicians in Europe as part of his new "Fraternity" group. Described as "the finest British jazz guitarist of his generation" by the Times, Martin Taylor's shows around the world captivate their audiences. The group includes trumpeter Guy Barker who has guested on records by Sting, George Michael and Carmel as well as featuring in the bands of jazz greats like Gil Evans, Clark Terry and Quincy Jones. He also arranged music for Anthony Minghella's film The Talented Mr Ripley - in which he duetted with actor Matt Damon. Also guesting with Martin Taylor's Fraternity is fast rising Scottish jazz vocalist Alison Burns whose new album "Kissing Bug" was released earlier this year.

Over 20 venues are taking part in the jazz festival throughout Hamilton. The majority of entertainment is absolutely free! This festival is a real treat for music lovers.
