03rd Apr 2009 - Lanarkshire firms offered chance to win free water
Lanarkshire companies will be invited to do their bit for the environment this week - and win the chance to avoid water bills for a year at the same time.
Business Stream, Scotland's leading non-domestic water and waste water services supplier, has launched a new online billing system to businesses in the area that will dramatically cut down on unnecessary paperwork, saving them time and therefore money.
Tony McHardy, head of sales and marketing at Business Stream, says the new online service will play a key role in reducing the amount of paper and time wasted. He said: "Businesses currently receive paper bills but we are now encouraging our customers to go online, cut down on paperwork and reduce the time taken to manage their account, enabling them to focus on getting on with their day job.
"We're even offering a year's free water supply to a lucky business as part of a prize draw for customers who sign up before 30 April." (terms and conditions apply)
With eBilling, customers will be able to view, pay and download their bills online, submit any queries, and check an online archive of their bills. This new service will give the companies full 24/7 access to their account and allow them to manage their water needs at a time that suits them.
