30th May 2007 - New promoter role for Hamilton Park Developments

Hamilton Park Developments (HPD) will now assume the Park management role at Hamilton International Park.
HPD will be responsible for site maintenance, security, landscaping and general upkeep of the park, providing a consistent approach to the park's visual outlook and appearance.
Scottish Enterprise, the original park developer, had initially been in charge of the management role. However, Hamilton Park Developments - a subsidiary of the HFD Group - has now assumed the role and will aim to replicate the consistency and overall quality of the environment at sister development Strathclyde Business Park.
William Hill, managing director of HFD Group, said: "We are pleased to have finally secured the Park management role at Hamilton International Park. The new role will enable us to manage all aspects of the park's maintenance and site security, ensuring that the working environment for park tenants remains amongst the very best in the country.
"Hamilton International Park has been experiencing significant growth over the last few years and we are fully commited to continually improving and investing in new services for our tenants and prospective businesses that hope to locate here."
HFD Group has invested in a host of new services and facilities for the business park, including a new £5.25m Retail Parade.
The Retail Parade will provide space for six retail outlets and will offer a wide range of leisure and retail facilities to both the business park occupiers and the local community when it opens for business in September.
Ends
Hamilton International Park is now being developed solely by HFD Developments, following successful negotiations to end its joint venture with AWG Property.
HFD Developments continues its joint venture with AWG at Hamilton International Park in relation to Prospect House, Kilpatrick House and Nevis House.
Hamilton International Park is home to household names such as HSBC First Direct, T Mobile, First Engineering, Scottish Power and S&UN. DTZ, Lambert Smith Hampton and Cushman & Wakefield are the joint letting agents for the available office accommodation at Hamilton International Park.
